Common questions

Where should I eat in Seoul?

Start with where you're staying. Myeongdong and Euljiro are good for Korean classics like naengmyeon and dumplings, Ikseon-dong for small restaurants in hanok alleys, Hongdae and Seongsu for younger, busier spots, Itaewon for food from around the world, and Gangnam Station for group dinners. Tell your AI the dish, time or budget you have in mind and Yumi narrows it down.

How do I book a restaurant in Seoul as a foreigner?

Connect Yumi to the AI you already use and ask it to book. At Yumi partner restaurants the request goes straight to the owner and is confirmed back to you in the chat. You share your name and a phone number from any country, plus an email if the number isn't Korean. There's no deposit. Most other restaurants with a phone number take requests too, daily from 11:00 to 21:00 Korea time.

Do I need to speak Korean or install a Korean app?

No. Ask in your own language and Yumi answers in it. English is supported today and more languages are rolling out. Romanized names like Myeongdong or Haeundae work too.

How many places in Seoul can Yumi search?

About 147,000 restaurants, cafés and bars in Seoul. Venues confirmed as closed are hidden.

Is it free?
